Every provider’s legal name, RTO code and registration status is sourced from the training.gov.au National VET Register — never a course-comparison site, education-agent site or “best trade school” blog. Scope lines are a broad category only (e.g. “business, community services, hospitality”), not a full qualification list.

Campus addresses. Verified against each provider’s own official site — training.gov.au’s registered address is sometimes a head office rather than a teaching campus, so it isn’t relied on alone for location.

Verified 2026-09-13. RTO registration status, scope of registration and campus footprints can change at any time — the same caveat that applies to TEQSA registrations on the universities page. training.gov.au’s public search interface doesn’t support a clean geographic filter for Greater Brisbane, so this list was built by checking candidate providers individually against it rather than pulling a single filtered export.

By a single, defensible filter: a genuine physical teaching campus somewhere in Greater Brisbane, confirmed against the provider's own site — not training.gov.au's registered address alone, which is sometimes a head office rather than a teaching campus. Queensland has roughly 900 registered RTOs; this list is capped at around a dozen of the ones with real Brisbane campuses, prioritising breadth of qualification scope (trades, hospitality, creative industries, business, health) over any single narrow-niche provider.

Are apprenticeship Group Training Organisations (GTOs) included?

No. A GTO employs apprentices and places them with host businesses rather than delivering training itself — structurally different from an RTO, and mixing the two would misrepresent what a GTO actually does. Worth a page of its own if this one performs well.

Is there a QILT-style satisfaction or employment-outcome rating for these providers?

No. QILT's graduate-outcome and satisfaction surveys cover universities, not VET providers — no public equivalent dataset exists for TAFE or private RTOs, so this page doesn't attempt to rank or rate any provider on outcomes.
