Caveats
- These are 2021 Census figures, so they are about five years old; incomes, ages and household mix have moved since.
- St Lucia, Woolloongabba, South Brisbane, Kelvin Grove - Herston and Toowong have a high share of group households (8% or more), the pattern of student and share-house areas rather than young families.
Ranked on median age from the 2021 Census, lowest first. Suburbs with fewer than 500 residents, or too little data to rank fairly, are left out. Movement compares each suburb's position since the 2016 Census, among suburbs ranked in both periods. How the rankings are calculated.
